Who We Are

Our website address is: https://stmarystnpsc.com. This website serves as an informational and service platform for our TNPSC coaching programs. We are committed to maintaining your privacy and ensuring your data is secure.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the information entered in the comments form, including name, email, and any website link provided. Additionally, we log the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect and prevent spam. To personalize your comment, we may generate an anonymized hash of your email address and provide it to the Gravatar service to display your profile picture, if available. Once your comment is approved, your Gravatar image becomes publicly visible alongside your comment. We do not use this information for marketing or sell it to third parties.

Media

If you upload images to our website for example, while submitting assignments or feedback we strongly recommend that you remove any embedded location data (EXIF GPS) before uploading. Some images taken on smartphones or cameras may include GPS coordinates. This data can be extracted by anyone who downloads the image, potentially revealing your exact location. To protect your privacy, please ensure that such metadata is removed before uploading images.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Our site may include embedded content such as YouTube videos, Facebook posts, Instagram media, Google Maps, and other interactive features. Embedded content behaves exactly the same as if you visited the source website directly. These third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content. If you are logged into one of those platforms, they may associate your browsing activity with your user profile. We do not control or access the data collected by these third-party services. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies for more information.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve any future comments from the same user without needing moderation. For registered users, we store the personal information provided in your user profile. You can view, edit, or delete your personal information at any time—except for your username. Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on our site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also request the deletion of this data. However, this does not include any data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be scanned through an automated spam detection service to ensure the security and integrity of the website. This helps us prevent spam, malicious submissions, and abuse.
